Air Power Technologies' aircraft engines are designed and manufactured specifically for aircraft use.  We use only the finest aircraft grade materials available.  The crankcases are machined from solid aluminum bar stock 6061-T-6.  The crankshafts are precision turned and carry the highest grades of needle and roller bearings available.  All of the crankshafts are dynamically balanced to assure smooth performance.

Each Air Power Technologies Sachs Dolmar and Huskvarna engine arrives complete and ready to install on your aircraft.  This package includes an APT Muffler Mount System with isolation mounts, auto advance electronic ignition system, crankcase pressure tapped for smoke, and a velocity stack installed on the Walbro carburetor.  All components are installed on the engine ready to install on your aircraft.
